Dr. Noufal Mais is an optometrist and entrepreneur who has opened seven eye care offices in Western Canada, with two more coming within the year. He opened his first office, The Eye Centre, directly out of optometry school, and within a year, he had already opened a second branch. Through a dedication to best business practices and a commitment to personalized, patient-centric care, Dr. Mais has built a small eye care empire providing thousands of Canadians with access to high-quality, affordable optometry solutions.
Along with The Eye Centre, Dr. Mais founded Alliance Eye Doctors, which now has three locations in Regina and Saskatoon, SK. Later this year, Dr. Mais will launch his new telehealth initiative, Digital Optometric Services, bringing high-quality remote eye care to rural Saskatchewan.
Using his fifteen years of industry experience, Dr. Mais provides patients at each of his branches with comprehensive eye care via a wide range of services, including state-of-the-art eye exams, retinal photography and imaging, pediatric and geriatric care, glaucoma and cataract evaluations and pre- and post-operative surgery assessments.
In addition to his popular eye care offices, Dr. Mais manages a mobile eye clinic that travels to rural areas across Western Canada, providing eye care to underserved indigenous communities. He’s demonstrated a strong commitment to increasing access to eye care in the remote regions of Alberta and Saskatchewan.
In his free time, Dr. Mais enjoys hunting, fishing, soccer, basketball, boxing, golf, and regular gym workouts.
